Our location

The authentic Andalusian village of Maro lies on the mediterranean south coast of Spain, where rugged mountains meet unspoilt beaches.

This is the eastern Costa del Sol, with one of the mildest subtropical climates in Europe.

Surrounded by plantations growing avocado, mango, papaya and banana, as well as a wide range of vegetables for market, Maro is home to the well-known Nerja Caves, boasting a spectacular underground cathedral of limestone.

From Hotel Casa Maro you can explore the beautiful region and make a daytrip to the superb nature of the Alpujarras, positioned at the foothill of the majestic Sierra Nevada, well known for its diverse natural landscape and abundance of nature and wildlife. Come for the winter skiing. Or enjoy a ride through Axarquía with its pueblos blancos, typical white Andalusian villages, which seem to be thrown at the ridges and foothills of the spectacular mountain scenery.
